We arrived at the Mandarin Hotel in Quanzhou on Sunday. It's a beautiful new hotel, and in a different part of town than the hotel we used to stay in, so I got to see parts of the city I'd never seen before. Since it was early in the afternoon and we didn't have any appointments that day, a few of us took a cab to a Buddhist temple near the shopping district for a little sight seeing.
